TITLE: Mark's Clothes That Work For Me
ROLE: Designer

Website promoting Mark's clothes for women at different stages in their life. Features an interactive flash component on the home page that allows you to select a life stage then view appropriate clothing. Site also includes a contest page, and a series of articles related to different stages in a woman's life. For this project I was in charge of the design (which replicates Mark's branding), and the development of the Flash component.

Over the last few years I have created my fare share of banners, probably in the hundreds. From gif to flash, super-banner to small contest listings. Banners in my opinion can be one of the hardest things to design -- due to the limited amount of space to work with and the odd dimensions.

Simple one page wrap site featuring McCormicks products, Recipe links, and links to enter a contest page. Look and feel reflect current McCormick's creative material.

ROLE: Designer

Chatelaine wrap page for Dr. Oetker. Page features recipe listing, and entry points for contest, and the Dr. Oetker website. Design baed on Dr. Oetker's current design material (web, print).

TITLE: Spectro Contest
ROLE: Designer

Contest microsite for Spectro facial products. Site includes a contest, product description page (uses a lightbox feature), and a home page with video feature. Site follows the look of Spectro facial products with blues and a clean fresh feel.

TITLE: Seaworld/ Breakfast Television Contest
ROLE: Designer

Designed a contest Micro-site for Seaworld. Site includes contest form, video features, and information about Seaworld theme parks. Design replicates current Seaworld web materials.

TITLE: Days Inn Summer Roadtrip
ROLE: Developer

Developed the Days Inn Summer Roadtrip site, which features a series of articles and a contest. Site was created using CSS and HTML, with a Jquery image rotator on the homepage. Site also includes Google Analytics for tracking and is SEO friendly.

ABOUT

Alex Cleary is a New Media designer residing in the Greater Toronto Area. He has worked at various agencies and design studios in Toronto over the last five years including: Search Engine Advertising and Design, American Express Canada, Wunderman Advertising, MacLaren McCann, FCBi, and Rogers. His roles at these agencies and companies have varied from web banner development, super-comp development, web design, front end programming, and flash animation. Alex is capable of coding in CSS/HTML, and Actionscript and has a working knowledge of PHP, DHTML, mySQL.
